Dana Roth is an Israeli bassist, composer, music producer, mixing engineer and sound designer, currently located in Boston, MA.

After completing a two-year Jazz performance program in Tel-Aviv, her growing interest in music production and sound have led her to Berklee College of Music in Boston as a full tuition scholarship recipient, majoring in Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design. Some of her mentors include Dr. Susan Rogers, Dr. Richard Boulanger, Prince Charles Alexander, Neil Leonard, Sean Slade, Dr. Jeff Baust and Alain Mallet.

In her own music, Dana captures everyday moments and gazes at them through colorful, kaleidoscopic lenses, seeking beauty and magic in the ordinary. Her works- ranging from melodic, jazzy tunes, to experimental pieces incorporating found sound, synthesizers, circuit-bent toys or edgy electronic textures and beats - were featured on the CT:Swam series at Friedman Gallery in New York and at the New York City Electro-Acoustic Festival. Her original composition, Water Creatures, has appeared on Alain Mallet’s album, A Wake of Sorrows Engulfed in Rage.

Dana’s performing & recording bassist career includes worldwide tours in EU, USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel with artists Ester Rada, Chihiro Yamanaka, Yael Deckelbum, Tamir Grinberg, Amir Darabi and Albino Mbie. Dana has been leading ensembles, playing her original music, in New York, Boston and Tel Aviv.
